Bio
Darren, known as Xquisite, is the preferred DJ of Mediacorp Yes933 radio host and Star Awards Top 10 Most Popular Male Artiste Jeff Goh. He also regularly supports other Yes933 radio hosts and prominent emcees including Richard Styles, Hossan Leong, and Muttons (Class 95), among many others.
Starting his career at the tail end of the Eurodance era in 2007, he rose from small pubs to Singapore's largest venues within a few years — including Shanghai Dolly, Sonar, and Queen The Club at Esplanade. He left the club scene in 2016 to focus fully on events.
His early years also saw him freelancing with audio companies, operating sound consoles and backing up emcees for private events — including distinguished guests such as the late Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, former President Tony Tan, former Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, and current Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.
Being exposed to both club and event sectors made him highly versatile — adapting to different crowds and reacting fast when required. This skillset became especially apparent during the COVID years when events moved to virtual stages.
